As from 2013 all wireless network equipment used by AccommIT WiFi are manufactured by Ubiquiti networks and include wireless access points and antennae specifically designed for outdoor use, UniFi access point monitoring and management software, Power Over Ethernet adapters (POE), Ubiquiti Cat5e/6 connectors and shielded ‘TOUGHCable’ designed to integrate with POE adapters and APs to ensure Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection.
Ubiquiti wireless access points are WiFi certified and comply with the WiFi alliance standards 802.11 a/b/g/n currently used by WiFi enabled devices including smartphones, laptops and tablets.
